Snow Day

It has been a long time since I've gotten to take a snow day, but I got to today, actually 1/2 a day. Vermillion called school off today due to nasty weather. The Mrs. took the morning shift with the kids and I went to work, this afternoon we switched. So what's a guy to do with and whole afternoon off? Well so far I've done a bunch of laundry, went to war with a 3 foot drift across the driveway and got in some time on the trainer.

I'm doing pretty well making sure I'm on the trainer some everyday. I've only missed 3 days yet this month, one due to feeling crappy and two others because I ran out of time and OK was lazy. I'm having a harder time staying focused on training right now because I'm not going to be able to make the TDK this year. Last year knowing that the TDK is early in the season I was able to stay more focused. I'm really bummed about missing the TDK this will be the first year I've missed.

They reason I won't be able to make it is I have a wedding I have to attend in Florida. I hate when people don't consult my riding schedule before they make plans. Even though I'm bummed about missing the TDK Florida will be fun. We are going to make a massive family vacation, at least massive for our family. We are doing the whole wedding thing and then DISNEY. I think the kids will love it. We have a 5 year old and a 7 year old so they should be at a great age to really enjoy it.
